Home Sweet Home Back in the good old USA after a very successful
3 week tour We had brief stops in Paris and London, and then
we were off to Then on to Istanbul, Turkey and Incirlik Air Base in Adana. Turkey was beautiful! From there we flew in a C-17 military plane to Uzbekistan. We slept on cots in tents, and ate military rations for 2 days in pouring rain. After the show there, we had an autograph session with the Special Forces Unit stationed there. These men are the toughest of the tough! Then off to Baghram Air Base in Afghanistan for a 2:00AM autograph session for our boys on the front lines! It was so cool checking out the Afghan mountains at night with night vision goggles. I even collected a few rocks off the air strip as souvenirs. Then back on the C-17 and back to Turkey and a day off for shopping and eating Turkish cuisine! On our final week we flew to Bahrain, a small beautiful resort island, a few miles from Saudi Arabia. We spent one night there before shipping out to Kuwait! Upon arriving in Kuwait City for our final 4 shows, we settled into a fantastic hotel that had been rebuilt after the Iraqi invasion of 1990! All the shows were only miles away from the Iraqi border. We have some very brave soldiers there! On the tour were Headshrinkers Samu and Alofa (Lloyd Anoai), "Big" Gene Sinisky as The Patriot, Jack Hill as Doink The Clown, The Jersey Devil, Nuisance, women wrestlers Malia Hosaka and Valentina, and referee Sean "Green Boy" Hansen. I went as the MC and Ring Announcer. Thanks goes to Tom Reeder for showing us the world! Special thanks to all our men and women in the Armed Forces for keeping our borders a safer place! They make sacrifices everyday for our freedom!
